Tempo's Alphabet is a cryptogram puzzle game featuring an original story, characters, and narrative content, available as an app and a companion website, offering minigames, puzzles, storylines, and related content for entertainment and educational purposes.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and Website for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content, including its story, characters, artwork, or code;

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;

  • Use the App or Website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts or interferes with their operation;

  • Remove, obscure, or alter any trademark, logo, or other proprietary notices.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, Website, and all related content — including puzzles, storylines, characters, narrative and dialogue, artwork, logos, text, and code — are owned by Abrupt Software or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App or Website to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person;

  • Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's device data.

6. Local Data and In-App Features

The App may store game data (such as saved clues) locally on your device using local storage. This data remains on your device, and you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not responsible for any loss of local game data due to app updates, device changes, or uninstallation.

7. Children's Use

Tempo's Alphabet is designed to be safe for kids and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the App. See our for details on how we handle children's data.

8. Third-Party Services

The App and Website rely on third-party services, including Squarespace (hosting and analytics) and Microsoft Outlook (email), and may be distributed through the Google Play Store. The App and Website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App or Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abrupt Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App or Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
